Description of Business

Delta Tec, Inc. is a mechanical contractor specializing in the Design, Installation, Service, Repair, Replacement and Maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Our services include general sheet metal fabrication too. Our focus is primarily the commercial and custom home sector. Our expertise is in the design/build, replacement, repair, retrofit, service, maintenance and upgrade of HVAC&R equipment and control systems.

Established in January of 2004, headquartered in Fresno, Ca. with a branch office in Modesto, Ca. Delta Tec, Inc. is a small company with upwards of 24 employees that is organized as a sub-chapter “S” corporation with Mr. David Gonzalez, operating as its president, chief operating officer and RMO. Our attention is focused on becoming the best in providing excellent customer service coupled with outstanding Design, Installation and Service!

Our design/build and installation work is focused to the office, retail, medical and custom home construction projects. Tenant improvement of existing space is also a major focus of our business. Our outstanding work in the service, repair, replacement, retrofit and maintenance of HVAC&R equipment and controls is second to none!

We have the personnel, equipment, tools and infrastructure to perform exceptionally well in these environments. We also offer indoor air quality products and services from clean room design and installation to UV lights for mitigation of mold bacteria and such services as duct cleaning and air filtration systems for odor control.

Delta Tec, Inc. (dba) Quality Air Conditioning will constantly strive to develop the reputation for giving its customers “Affordable Quality and Value Always”. Pricing Guidelines

Welcome! As the principal of a quality organization, I want you to know that we will be constantly working to earn your trust and continued business. We will always be a strong competitive advocate for you! That said, you should know that our pricing is based on competitive, widely accepted traditional industry practices, coupled with vendor price lists and trade price publications such as the “QSP” pricing guide, E-Trade Price guide or the Contractor’s “ARH Directory” known as the “Blue Book”.

These resources are considered an industry standard for HVAC&R parts and supplies pricing. These principals and practices assure you of quality work at affordable, competitive prices. Now, for some details:

  • Our normal hours of operation are 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday - Friday. (Evenings, holidays and weekends are not regular business hours) Saturdays, Sunday and evening work after 4:00 pm is charged at time & one half. Holidays and work after 7:30pm is billed at double time.

  • For residential customers, Our standard rate is $78.00 per hour for the technician’s labor with a diagnostic fee of $65.00. The diagnostic fee is for the truck charge and for a written formulation of corrective measures that you will need to get your unit working correctly. That is how the technician will provide you with the prices for any repairs that may be needed. If you decide that you want him to perform the repair while he is there, he will discount the $65.00 diagnostic fee.

  • Commercial accounts will not encounter the diagnostic fee but will be subject to travel and truck charges. Commercial accounts are charged a service or repair rate of $78.00 per hour for the technician’s labor and a $7.00 truck charge per call.

  • Contract and/or Project work and/or for work performed on a quote/per job basis; our charges are provided in the contract and/or service agreement. All Repairs are quoted separately. All repairs are based on the QSP pricing guide or listed prices as indicated by the ARH blue Book.

  • Our terms are net due upon receipt of invoice. Payment may be made by cash, check, or credit card. There may be an additional fee for credit card transactions. If there are any discrepancies in our invoices, please bring them to my attention directly for immediate resolution!

  • Should you become a contract maintenance customer with us, you shall be designated as a “Blue Ribbon” or “Preferred” customer. The “Blue Ribbon or Preferred” customer status earns certain financial and performance benefits over non-maintenance account clients.

  • A “Blue Ribbon or Preferred” customer is a value rated & good credit rated customer with a current maintenance contract & has priority response over “non-contract” customers.

  • The “Blue Ribbon” customer benefits are:
       1) Response time for emergency service is within two (2) hours.
       2) Your parts discounts can be up to 15% off of the list price.
       3) We will bill you for our services (OAC) for services rendered 30 days net.

Our warranty is a reflection of the confidence in our employees, the products we represent and in the application of our work. We offer a one year workmanship warranty on all of our work where we have provided equipment, labor and material. We pass through the equipment, parts, components, material and manufacturers’ limited warranty to cover the items that we sell and install.

You will always need to provide authorization for any work to be done and please note that services will always have your best interest as our priority!
